A pilot to equip up to 500 London Metropolitan Police officers with Taser‘s Axon Body wearable cameras has started in 10 boroughs in the UK capital today. Curtis Peterson is VP of Operations at RingCentral, a cloud-based business communications system. The Internet of Things has garnered a lot of attention lately as innovators and entrepreneurs devise new technologies to connect our “stuff” to other “stuff.” From the Nest thermostat and wristband fitness trackers to sophisticated sensors embedded in roadways, products and packages, the Internet of Things promises to revolutionize the way we live and work.  In fact, Cisco predicts that by 2020, more than 50 billion devices will be connected to the Internet worldwide. Google today updated Google Play Services to version 4.4, adding Street View imagery, running and walking detectors, as well as several new features in Games Services, Mobile Ads, and Wallet. The new version is rolling out worldwide now; once it’s available in your region, you’ll be able to download it directly from Google Play. Once it becomes available to all Android users (Google expects the process will “take several days”), developers will be able to download the SDK using the Android SDK manager and get started with the new APIs. The biggest addition they’ll likely want to play with is…

Mark Randall is the Chief Customer Officer at Bulletproof. A recent NAB report shows Australia’s online retail spending increased to $14.9 billion for the year to January 2014, up 11.3 percent on the previous year. Businesses who fail to adopt an e-commerce strategy risk being left behind and losing revenue to their more forward-thinking competitors. Whether you’re new to the e-commerce game, or an old hand at it, it’s imperative when choosing a new e-commerce platform that you choose one…
