GalaxyTabS8_front_feat
Samsung has revealed details about two new tablets today at an event in New York City, ushering an 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S into its ever-growing ranks of devices. The new Super AMOLED display-equipped devices make no bones about the fact that they’re aimed squarely at the consumer market and both share the same kind of rear panel design seen on the Galaxy S5. Nevertheless, despite being aimed at a ‘consumption’ crowd, both do include Samsung’s Knox security and pre-installed office software for dealing with documents on-the-go. Both devices share the same WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels, 16:10 ratio) display, which Samsung says has a 100,000:1…

8.4 galaxy tab s
At its New York press conference today, Samsung announced two new tablets off its Galaxy line: the 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S. Both tablets feature Super AMOLED screens with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and WQXGA displays (2560×1600 pixels and 16:10 ratio), making images more crisp, rich and vibrant. The Galaxy Tab S also boasts adaptive display technology to optimize gamma, brightness, contrast and sharpness based on the content you’re viewing and where you’re using the tablet. Samsung says the Super AMOLED display is 40 percent less reflective than LCD screens to help with outdoor use. The lightweight devices measure in at 6.6 mm thick,…

Following the release of Firefox 30 just two days ago, Mozilla today updated its Firefox Beta channel to version 31 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. The company tells TNW that the release is heavily focused on developer tools for both desktop and mobile, though the changelogs do show that other features and changes have made their way in as well. All the improvements are focused on helping developers build Web content, apps, and add-ons more easily than before. That includes a canvas debugger and an add-on debugger. The former (shown above) allows developers to inspect 2D and 3D graphics…

Electric Car Maker Tesla Opens Store In Miami Mall
Tesla just removed patents from the walls of its Palo Alto headquarters both literally and figuratively. If you want to build something using the technology found in a Tesla patent, the company is totally fine with that. Today Tesla Founder and all around super-smart guy, Elon Musk, posted to the company’s blog that Tesla would not pursue legal action against anyone that uses Tesla’s patented technology in good faith. In the post Musk says that the goal of Tesla is to further the development of sustainable transportation. “If we clear a path to the creation of compelling electric vehicles, but then lay intellectual property…
