Livescribe has long been a purveyor of smart pens that blur the boundaries between physical and digital. And today, it’s been revealed that Moleskine is now embracing its technology too, with Livescribe-compatible notebooks. The new Livescribe Notebooks look familiar on the surface to anyone who’s used Moleskine notebooks before, but it now sports technology that takes your handwriting and sketches into the digital realm. Audible for iOS gets a bright redesign, new Discover section and 30-second forward button

Audible, the audiobook service owned by Amazon, today updated its iOS app with a much-needed redesign and a handful of new features designed to improve the discovery and playback experience. As you can see below, the old theme (left) has been switched out for a white, slightly flatter design (right) that’s more in-line with iOS 7. It’s a refreshing change complimented by a new ‘Discover’ section that offers a vertical stream of audiobook recommendations. Uber wants to deliver your lunch with UberFRESH

Not content with merely driving you from place to place, Uber has today begun a trial period for a lunch delivery service they call UberFRESH. Because Uber’s only testing the waters, the program is currently limited to weekdays from 11:30am – 2:30pm in the Santa Monica, CA region. There’s a short Prex Fixe menu, and each meal costs $12. You don’t need to pay for delivery or tip, but you do need to meet your driver outside to pick up your meal. To order, all you need to do is select the UberFRESH option from the regular Uber app and set your delivery location to somewhere…

BitTorrent today released BitTorrent Sync version 1.4, adding a slew of new features to its file synchronization tool. You can download the new version now for Windows, OS X, and Linux from bittorrent.com/sync while the Android, iOS, and Windows Phone apps will roll out later during the day on their respective stores. The company today also announced that BitTorrent Sync has now passed 10 million installations since the open alpha launch in April 2013.
