Google today announced iOS Sync for Google Apps, a new device management feature for your Apple devices. iOS Sync will be built directly in to the company’s Gmail and Google Drive apps. Here’s a list of the product’s features: Manage Google Apps: Set a policy that prompts employees to enroll their device when they log into Google Apps such as Google Drive and Gmail. T-Mobile hosted its Uncarrier 7 event in San Francisco today. It was an opportunity for T-Mobile CEO John Legere to host his very own roast of other carriers and share the latest news for his own: VoLTE to Wi-Fi calling and texting, free in-flight texting and a free microsite. This post originally appeared on the Crew blog. I knew building a startup would be hard. I knew it would be slow. I knew we had to do lots of customer development and build something people want. After some thought, I realized that a lot of what I do starts with email. I handle most of our customer support, which means answering questions for customers who are on the fence about…

A new law has taken effect in California that prevents businesses from forbidding and penalizing customers from writing reviews. Though officially called Assembly Bill 2365, it had come to be known as the “Yelp Bill.” Yelp published a celebratory blog post today about the new rules. The core of the law bans businesses from enforcing “non-disparagement clauses” in their customer contracts, which have been used to prevent consumers from publicly sharing their experiences with a business. Here’s an excerpt from the bill: This bill would prohibit a contract or proposed contract for the sale or lease of consumer goods or services from including a provision…

Crystal Coleman is the Director of Community at Townsquared. This post originally appeared on CMX Hub. Negotiation certainly wasn’t something I learned when I started out as a community manager in 2006.
