glowdeck
Notification centers, Bluetooth speakers, and wireless charging docks are nothing new – but the concepts find a common place in the Glowdeck, a Kickstarter project that combines all three functionalities in one package – and a single price tag. Google today released Chrome version 34 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The new version includes support for responsive images, an unprefixed version of the Web Audio API, and importing supervised users. In tangible terms, this means things like having immediate knowledge of nearby fire hydrants, what other fire trucks are already responding to a situation, and any potential hazards nearby. FireStop’s methodology is still very much…
