"Just in time for Summer 2010, there's a new game you can play anywhere in the Gulf of Mexico. It's called "Dunk Tony Hayward into the oil spill." All you do is shove the BP CEO into the crude sludge and try to measure his very, very modest impact on the environment." ~ Yasha Harari

Printer at Work (1)
Technology and the Internet allow us to work from anywhere in the world, but there are still some tasks that require an office or administrator. One of those is printing. Sure, email is the communications medium for business, but very often you’ll need physical (hard) copies of documents and other items. Zuta Labs is an Israel-based company that wants to add printing to the modern entrepreneur’s mobile toolkit. Its Mini Mobile Robotic Printer has landed on Kickstarter, where it is asking for $400,000 to turn its prototype into a consumer product. Music streaming service Deezer has launched a couple of new features today designed to allow users of the free version to make the most of the service on their smartphone or tablet. The first of the two new features — Flow — looks at a user’s music library and previous streams to create a personalized radio station. The second  — Playlist Radio  — takes your favorite playlists and combines them with Deezer’s own recommendations to create a streaming radio station “focused on music discovery”, Deezer said. Both of these features are available for free  (and without time restrictions) to free users – although…

After releasing a browser for smart TVs last month, China’s UCWeb has launched a PC browser today, as it seeks to capture as many eyeballs as it can across a variety of platforms. UCWeb is behind the popular mobile UC Browser, which has over 500 million users around the globe and uses data compression technology to minimize the cost of browsing and downloading. The Chinese firm says that similar to its mobile counterpart, UC Browser for PC prides itself on speed. It also has a series of mobile-inspired features such as predicting user behavior and preloading pages, infinite scrolling, and compressing sites on the server side so…
