DueDil, the platform with information on over 9 million UK businesses and 15 million directors, has announced that the third version of its API for developers wanting to integrate the business look-up service. Available now, the newest API includes DueDil’s advanced search features, allowing users to define customer and potential customer profiles based on filters like growth rates, location, size and more. The release is looking to fix the age-old problem of managing customer information in CRM systems by enabling DueDil users to embed and then automatically update the DueDil platform inside their own operations. Music discovery app Rormix has today been updated for iOS, with a new look and features that will make it easier to find videos from new independent artists that are similar to your own tastes. You can now let the app scan your device’s music library, which certainly made the app a lot more relevant to my tastes as soon as I tried it. Artists within the app now have profile pages and you can tag well-known acts to any music video to help others find bands they like. EU legislation ordering operators to retain user records declared invalid by Court of Justice

Service operators in Europe may no longer be forced to keep records of their users’ communications activity for up to two years, following a ruling by the European Union’s Court of Justice that Data Retention Directive is invalid under European law. The rules meant that telecoms providers had to keep traffic, location and other data, but not the content of communications.
