BBM for Windows Phone 8 beta is now available for anyone to download

Following a brief stint in private beta, BlackBerry has today announced that its popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) app is now available for all Windows Phone 8 users. The company said it has tried to pick up on Windows Phone’s own specific UI design, so the app looks a little different compared to its incarnation on other platforms, although it does obviously provide many of the same core features found on the iOS and Android apps. Timeful for iPhone uses behavioral science to make your calendar and to-do list smart

Timeful has launched as an iOS app that draws on academic research from Stanford and Duke to add artificial intelligence to your mobile calendar. The startup is the creation of Stanford Computer Science professor Yoav Shoham, Duke Psychology and Behavioral Economics professor Dan Ariely, and Stanford PhD candidate Jacob Bank. After collaborating on a research project, the three decided to use their findings to build a product. The app combines a to-do list with your calendar. Europe wants your car to park and retrieve itself at the lot

Driverless cars may be six months or so from being trialled on the UK’s streets but the European Union has today outlined plans for self-parking and retrieving cars, designed to save you time at the lot.
