Skype for Windows Phone gets option to send photos, longer conversation history, text mark-up, and more

Skype today updated its Windows Phone app with new features available for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 users. You can download the new version now directly from the Windows Phone Store. First up, you can now send photos to one or more contacts, and you can now receive photos from Skype users who use an iPhone (V5.0 or above) or Windows Phone 8.x device. New aerial photo shows Apple’s ‘spaceship’ campus taking shape

Apple’s new ‘spaceship’ Campus 2 building was first proposed back in 2011, but building a 2.8 million square-foot collection of buildings as your new headquarters takes some time. Today, the city of Cupertino published a new aerial image of the site to show progress. As you can see from the image below, while the site’s spaceship-like ring shape is starting to take form, anything resembling the main building is pretty much still absent. In one of its boldest moves to date, Foursquare is today launching a revamped and reimagined version of its original mobile app. After removing the check-in functionality for a new app called Swarm, Foursquare has refocused its core app on location-based recommendations.
