There are many elements that go into a blog post to make it more prone to widespread distribution like optimizing all your content for easier sharing on Twitter. Most businesses today understand the value of marketing on Twitter and sharing their various forms of content on the social network, but most don’t have any idea of how to develop blog posts with Twitter in mind from the very beginning of the content creation process. Back in March we brought you news on the Findery iPhone app, Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake‘s new social notes-based map of the world. In a nutshell, Findery, which changed its name from Pinwheel in 2012 following a trademark dispute, lets you explore places through notes on a map, using video, audio, text and images. And from today, Findery is longer just available on iOS and the Web – it’s now available on Android too. Google Calendar now supports email addresses with accented, non-Latin characters

As promised, Google today added support for addresses that contain accented or non-Latin characters to Google Calendar. This means users can now invite friends or colleagues who have such email addresses. Any Google Calendar action that requires an email address should now work regardless of what characters are used. This includes calendar invites as well as sharing calendars. Last month, Google added support for accented and non-Latin characters into Gmail. The company also said Google Calendar would get the functionality “shortly” and six weeks later, it has delivered. Thumbnail image credit: Johannes Eisele/Getty Images

More than a month after releasing the PlayStation Now open beta on the PS4, Sony has opened up its game streaming service to PS3 users in mainland US and select parts of Canada. The company strongly recommends a 5 Mbps wired connection for the service. PS Now on the PS3 isn’t particularly exciting, since the games available currently come from the existing PS3 catalog.
