Google announced today that users of Docs, Slides and Drawings now have an easy way to create bullet point or numbered lists simply by using keyboard shortcuts. While you could create lists previously, it required going into the toolbar or menu settings, now, all you have to do is type an asterisk or hypen and it will automatically start building your list. Google said the feature is switched on by default but you can find the option to switch it off in Preferences. Another small tweak introduced today now lets you hit backspace to undo any auto-corrected entries. Granted, these…

FRANCE-INTERNET-TECHNOLOGY-LEWEB12

PayPal today announced its PayPal Here app now supports Android tablets. You can download the new version now from Google Play in five markets: the US, the UK, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. The app’s changelog explains the update means merchants can now take payments on their Android tablet, as well as Android phone. In addition to the aforementioned regional limitations, however, PayPal doesn’t promise all Android tablets will be compatible. The changelog lists the following tablets as “verified to work with the PayPal Here card reader”: ASUS Nexus 7″ 2013, ASUS Nexus 10″, ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T, Samsung Galaxy…

Polaroids

If you’re looking for a simple way to download all your Instagram photos in a few seconds, InstaTake is worth your time. Simply plug in your username, hit ‘Take’, and you’re good to go, though there is a 300 photo limit on things for now, which is a shame. While this seems similar to something like Instaport on the surface, InstaTake goes a step further and lets you download anyone’s photos by doing nothing more than entering their username. It won’t, of course, work on users who have their accounts set to private, as only those who have permission can…

Convo

Workplace collaboration tool Convo is today rolling out a much-requested feature – cross-platform chat. We rely on Convo within the TNW editorial team and as an editor, being unable to chat to team members privately on the go within the same app that we discuss the stories that we cover has been a real pain. Apparently, we weren’t alone; Convo CEO Faizan Buzdar tells use that it was the most-requested feature from his customer base. The new chat function works as you’d expect – you can select someone to talk to from a ‘Teammates’ tab and then talk to them in…

Sleepio iPhone prof

It’s all very well tracking your sleep patterns with a device like the Jawbone Up, but if you’re struggling to get a good night’s rest, how do you actually improve the situation? UK startup Big Health has today brought its Sleepio sleep therapy service to iOS. Previously available only on the Web, Sleepio is based on cognitive behavioral therapy and supported by peer-reviewed research. The app was originally supposed to support Apple’s new HealthKit SDK, allowing it to pull data from compatable sleep tracking devices. However, the last-minute postponement of HealthKit compatability in iOS 8 yesterday forced Big Health to rush out a…
