Apple is working with U2 to develop a new music format that is designed to tackle piracy by making digital downloads of albums and songs a more attractive proposition, according to TIME magazine. U2 frontman Bono told TIME that he was optimistic the new digital music format will prove so ‘irresistibly exciting’ that it will lure them away from the all-too-easy illegal downloading that the music industry often bemoans. Knowing full well that the world would wake up today keen to know exactly where their pre-ordered iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices are at this exact moment, FlightAware has launched a tool that will tell you – provided your device is still in the air. Formisimo, the startup focused on telling you how effective the forms on your website are, has rolled out a new real-time feature in beta. The real-time data on offer tells you the number of users currently using your checkout or form, the number of recent checkout drop-outs, conversions in the last five minutes and which fields are currently seeing activity. It’s easy to imagine the feature being popular with e-commerce sites and marketers who want to see how immediately effective a new mailshot is. As with Formisimo’s standard data, the idea is to help you understand where users are having problems…
