Skype to stop users in India from calling domestic mobiles and landlines from November 10

Skype users in India will soon be unable to call landlines and mobiles based inside the country. The feature will will be unavailable from November 10, reducing the usefulness of the cross-platform call and messaging service. Skype didn’t give a reason as to why it was abandoning domestic voice calls. Skype users in India will still be able to call landlines and mobile phones based outside of the country, however.
