Roku strikes fresh deal to integrate Rdio more deeply into its platform

Roku, makers of streaming TV boxes and sticks, has today announced that it is expanding its partnership with streaming music and radio service Rdio to more deeply integrate it into Roku’s core platform. While Rdio has been available on the Roku platform for a while now, the update brings new features like a channel shortcut button on Roku remotes (for models that will ship next year) that directly launches the service and a new interface that puts album artwork front and center.
