Sky is bringing two of its viewer packages – Sky Go and Now TV — to the PlayStation 4 in the UK . AT&T is reported to have approached satellite TV firm DirecTV over a possible acquisition, according to the Wall Street Journal. DirecTV has around 20 million viewers and a $40 billion market cap. Any deal would bring AT&T’s TV presence to around the same size as its rival Comcast’s, once the company completes its deal to buy Time Warner Cable. AT&T’s own TV business is estimated to have 5.7 million customers, while Comcast and Time Warner Cable combined will serve around 30 million. If you use Google Now then that could become a thing of the past, as the service now includes a parking detector. “When the card shows up in Google Now, you’ll see an indicator showing the approximate location of your car. To see other locations where you’ve recently parked, touch Previous locations. Your location data for parking location cards isn’t shared with anyone else,” Google explains.
