Yahoo has launched its News Digest app for Android devices and made the iOS version of the service available for all users worldwide. The app gives users news round-ups twice a day, and was initially only available to iOS device owners based in the US or the UK. The service was first launched earlier this year and is based on Summly, the startup started by British teenager Nick D’Aloisio which Yahoo acquired last year.
