Google today updated its Google Search app for iOS with the ability to ask questions with your voice and a slew of improvements focused on Google Now. You can download the new version now directly from Apple’s App Store. First and foremost being able to ask more casual questions with your voice means you can have a “smarter” conversation with the app. To start, tap the microphone or say “Ok Google” (initial voice features were added back in October and handsfree voice controls were added in November). Now you can ask questions like “What’s the weather like?” and follow up…

Microsoft today updated the Windows Store, which ships on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices, with enhancements “that address customer feedback and make it a lot easier to find the apps you want.” There are three big improvements worth noting: a new persistent navigation bar, multiple featured titles, and the ability for publishers to offer universal Windows apps.
