Google-owned, crowdsourced navigation app Waze has been updated today with a set of new features which allow football fans to fly the flag for their country for the duration of the competition. The updated app allows users to register their national side in their profile and proudly display a flag via their avatar to other drivers on the road. In order to bring a bit of fun into proceedings, Waze has added World Cup-themed collectibles to its roster of ‘road goodies’. T-Mobile USA confirms WiFi calling support on the iPhone when it comes to iOS 8 this Fall

US carrier T-Mobile has confirmed that you will be able to make WiFi phone calls from your iPhone after Apple releases iOS 8 this Fall. Apple announced iOS 8 at the kick-off of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. The company included WiFi calling on a list of minor new features for the next major version of iOS. We’ve reached out to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon to learn if they’re also planning to support Wi-Fi calls on the iPhone. In the midst of Apple’s WWDC conference, Google quietly updated its Google+ for iOS app with a new photo-editing user interface and its recently unveiled Google+ Stories feature. For the latter, Google will ask whether you want to review your existing Google+ Stories as soon as you open the Photos section. After a brief summary of the feature – it means Google will automatically create digital photo books using the images and clips you back up – you’ll be reminded about the app’s Location History and Location Reporting options.
