Update: Google Drive should be up and working for most people now. If you’re having trouble accessing all your documents on Google Drive just now, well, you’re not the only one. According to Is it Down Right Now?, the Google Docs portal has been offline for more than an hour, though judging by the normally-reliable comments on Twitter, that might be closer to 30 minutes. Sony’s new SmartBand SWR10 fitness tracker is now available in the US for $99.99

At long last, Sony’s new SmartBand SWR10 activity tracker is available in the US. You can pick it up from the company’s website or through its retail stores for $99.99 starting today. Each unit comes with a removable white “Core” and two adjustable black wristbands, although Sony has shown some brighter options in the past that you can swap out. The device was announced at the last CES trade show and slated for a March release after Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but clearly that date was eventually pushed back for the US. Adobe: US online TV consumption up 246% in Q1 2014, iOS apps surpass browsers as the most popular access point

Everyone knows online TV consumption is on the rise, as this is by no means a surprising trend. Yet it turns out the latest increases are still quite high: in Q1 2014 the US market saw a jump of 246 percent year-over-year. iOS apps managed to grab 43 percent market share, taking top spot as the leading access point for watching TV online. Browsers fell behind with a 36 percent share (compared to 47 percent a year ago) while Android apps garnered 15 percent. PlayCanvas takes its WebGL video game engine open source

Video game creators will be pleased to hear that the WebGL PlayCanvas Engine has been open-sourced. Mozilla announced the move today on its developer blog and you can access the entire engine sourcebase right now over on GitHub. The engine includes a full Javascript library tailored for video game development, with implementations for various graphics, physics, animation and audio-related components. The combination of HTML5 and WebGL makes it a popular choice for building 3D games that run in the browser and on mobile.
