When Facebook adjusted the algorithm in December 2013 to determine what a user sees in their Newsfeed, anyone that had a Facebook Page saw a dramatic drop in organic reach in posts. Today, Facebook explains what happening. The average Facebook user has upwards of 1,500 posts that can be shown to them every time they log in to their account. Pages are competing with potentially hundreds (or thousands depending on how popular…

Microsoft today released the first ad for its new Surface Pro 3 tablet-laptop hybrid. In 30 seconds, the company manages to show off quite a few features, including the pen, the kickstand, detachable keyboard, USB port, and Microsoft Office: As my colleague Roberto Baldwin put it, “Oh good. Tinder gets ephemeral with Moments, swipeable snaps that disappear within 24 hours

Jun05

In what seems to be a never-ending road towards app convergence, mobile dating platform Tinder just got a whole lot more like Snapchat with a new feature called Moments. Moments lets users annotate and share photos with their matches, who can then respond. However, images will disappear within 24 hours. You can add filters to the swipeable snaps, draw on them, or add text. The update is live on the App Store now, though no word yet on when the Android incarnation will be arriving. ➤ Tinder: App Store | Google Play
