Ubisoft held its E3 2014 press conference today, revealing a bevy of titles for video game enthusiasts to get excited for. If you missed the presentation, here’s everything the mammoth publisher had to show attendees at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Far Cry 4 Ubisoft kicked things off with Far Cry 4, a new instalment set in the snowy mountains of the Himalayas. Fellow gamers will vote on those ideas and Microsoft will present the best ideas, highest voted ideas, and comments to the Xbox design, engineering and operations teams for consideration. The company says it will do this on a “very regular basis,” whatever that means. Why wait until…

Facebook is trying once again to enter the increasingly crowded ephemeral messaging app market with Slingshot, a photo sharing app. But unlike Snapchat and other services, before you can see a photo, you need to reply with a photo of your own.  The app is the social network’s second attempt to take on Snapchat. The company’s Poke app launched to much fanfare only to fizzle out quickly and get pulled from the App Store. Unlike Poke, which was pretty much a Snapchat clone, Slingshot adds another element to the mix. By forcing you to send a picture (or “sling” as Facebook…

You’ve heard this before: live-tweeting can increase your social media engagement, expand your network, build brand awareness and position you as an industry authority. The list goes on. I’ve live-tweeted every conference I’ve attended for the past couple of years. I thought I followed the best practices. I would take a picture of the panel, tag speakers, use the event #hashtag and post it on Twitter. Over the course of the conference I would get a…
