Google reportedly plans to alert European users of links removed by ‘right to be forgotten’ law

Google is reportedly taking steps to ensure its users in Europe know that certain search results have been removed due to a ruling made last month by the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ). The ruling declared that individuals should have the right to remove outdated information about themselves from search engine results, which led to Google introducing an online form for users to request the removal of outdated and damaging links. According to The Guardian, Google is planning to include an indication on search result pages to let users know that links have been removed, similar to the way it handles search…

You can now stream music directly from Spotify’s app to multiple Samsung speakers

Samsung is keen to take its music streaming partnerships a step further, even after launching its own service Milk Music. After partnering with Deezer earlier this year to attract music fans in Europe, Samsung announced today a partnership with Spotify that will let premium users control their Samsung wireless audio multiroom speakers directly from the Spotify app. This is also the first time that Spotify Connect can stream music to more than two speakers at once. Spotify announced its Chromecast-style Spotify Connect feature in September last year, which lets premium subscribers stream music from the Spotify app to their home speaker systems…

The hype since E3 2012 for Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs has been continued since it was unveiled at E3 2012. Many who watched that early game footage, like I did, reacted with a collective “whoa.” Watch Dogs represented next-gen gaming at its best.  However, at E3 last year it became clear that the game had obviously not quite worked out the way the company had promised it would, with many of the graphics and dynamics of hacking pared back over the preceding year. Then, Ubisoft announced it was delaying Watch Dogs because it didn’t have enough “polish,” a fact that gave me hope the company…
