Facebook has today announced that its experimental Slingshot app for Android and iOS is now available to download worldwide. The app first launched in the US last week, but Facebook is already opening it up to all markets, it confirmed in a blog post today. Although it’s a little unusual to see Facebook move so fast to expand features out to new territories – they tend to get a longer test period as US-only exclusives, Facebook Paper, for example is still not officially available elsewhere – it comes in response to disappointment from users that they could not try out the new service.
