Facebook today announced improved analytics tools for app developers. The company is introducing options for measuring the performance of apps among specific groups of people as well as ways to track retention of users. Label cohorts let developers categorize groups of people who use their app. They can then measure factors like revenue or time spent in the app, as well as A/B test various tactics. Lyft Line’s shared carpooling service is coming to the perpetually congested Los Angeles

When you live in Los Angeles you plan most of your life around traffic. Actually, it’s planning on how you’ll pass the time while stuck in traffic. Lyft is hoping to ease some of that congestion by expanding its multi-passenger ride-sharing service, Lyft Line to the city of angels. Misfit’s colorful Flash wearable will track your exercise and sleep for $49.99

If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to track your health and fitness, Misfit’s colorful new Flash wearable might be worth considering. The company is hoping to differentiate on price – across the US it’ll be sold for only $49.99, which is cheaper than some competitors such as the Nike+ FuelBand and Jawbone UP. Similar to its previous effort, called the Shine, the Flash doesn’t come with a traditional display and, therefore, requires a companion app when you want to properly review your data.
