HTC announced two image-focused products at its Double Exposure event on Wednesday: the RE action camera and the selfie-taking Desire Eye phone. Here are our hands-on impressions with the devices. Online music service iHeartRadio today announced the upcoming release of its Android Wear app on October 15. The Android Wear integration goes beyond simple notifications to offer access to the last station you played, recommended stations and your list of favorites. You can also use it to control volume on your phone and thumb up or thumb down songs you like. The app supports all current Android Wear devices. HTC on Wednesday announced the RE camera, a periscope-shaped 16MP GoPro competitor that records 1080p video and timelapses. It can also record HD slow-motion video at 1/4 speed. The device includes a 146-degree wide-angle lens and image stabilization software, and is built with a waterproof design. HTC announces collaborative video app Zoe is available for Android phones now and iOS this fall

HTC announced today that its Zoe app is available in the Google Play starting today and on the App Store this fall. The app lets users collaborate and create short highlight videos from your videos and pictures. This is HTC’s first social app and pushing it to all Android 4.3 and later devices and iOS devices is a huge move for the hardware company. The app is the result of HTC’s Creative Lab unit. The Zoe videos or 30 seconds are less and can be shared to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. HTC is hoping to build it’s own mini social network….
