Tweets from accounts you don’t follow will soon appear in your timeline

Twitter loves experimenting with its service. One of those experiments involves dropping tweets in your timeline from accounts you don’t follow. That one is actually here to stay. Today Twitter posted that in recent tests, people enjoyed seeing tweets from accounts they don’t follow in their timeline. Adobe releases plug-in to ease Aperture-to-Lightroom photo library transition

With the eventual demise of Apple’s Aperture photo management software on the horizon, Adobe is wasting no time offering up Lightroom as an alternative. Although users still have plenty of time to make a decision, Adobe has released its Aperture Import Plugin for Lightroom 5, designed to make it easy for Aperture users to move their photo library into Lightroom from either Aperture or iPhoto. The plug-in requires Lightroom 5.6 or later on the Mac and can be downloaded from Adobe’s website. Google introduces .SOY Web domain for Latino audiences

Google just announced it is bringing a new domain name to the Web: .SOY. Not to be confused with the popular vegetarian alternative to meat, the new domain means “I am” in Spanish, and is intended to be used for Latino “identity and expression”. The company has also set up a sort of central hub for the domain, iam.soy, where you can find out more about the new sites with the domain, check domain availability and then purchase from name registrar partners it if you want. Facebook Messenger update for iOS lets you draw on photos before sending

Today Facebook updated its Messenger app for iOS with a feature that’s sure to bring out the artist in everyone. Now you can draw and type directly on photos from your camera roll before you whisk them off to your friends. The paint brush feature offers varying stroke sizes and colors while the text field centers whatever you write in the middle of the photo. The text can be moved up or down.
