OpenAI, a nonprofit focused on creating human-level artificial intelligence, just released an update to its GPT-2 text generator. If you haven’t had enough stories about contractors listening in on your conversations, good news: we’ve found even more of them. This time the contractors in question work for Microsoft and have been listening to you through your trusty Xbox One. Scientists in Florida may have just saved the the third largest coral reef on the planet. Florida Aquarium Senior Coral Scientist Keri O’Neil, aka “The Coral Whisperer,” and her team of researchers today announced they’d successfully spawned Atlantic coral in a laboratory – the first time this has been accomplished.
