How Apple plans to simplify porting iOS apps to macOS

Among all the underwhelming announcements of new features for its operating systems at the WWDC keynote, Apple did have something interesting to share with developers wondering about building apps for macOS and iOS. A new Diablo game is in the works

RPG fans rejoice: game developer Blizzard Entertainment’s job listings reveal that an ‘unannounced Diablo project’ is on the cards. The Irvine, California-based studio (which also made Overwatch and Hearthstone) is looking to hire a creative director, an executive producer, and various specialized artists (including a dungeon artists) for an upcoming Diablo game. That’s about all we have to go on for now, as there aren’t any further details about the title or a window for its release. Facebook copies Musical.ly’s lip syncing functionality for live video

After stealing several features from Snapchat for use in its own app and in Instagram, Facebook is now taking a leaf out of Musical.ly’s book to introduce a lip-syncing feature in users’ live video broadcasts. When you choose to shoot a live video on your phone in Facebook’s mobile apps, you’ll now find an option to include a popular song to lip sync with. That’s a lot like what Musical.ly offers.
