A company called Transdev debuted its autonomous shuttles in a Florida town earlier this month. Rather than test their vehicles with tourists or through a ride-sharing style service, the company is using them to take children to school. What an awful idea. Facebook announces Oculus Quest all-in-one VR headset

Facebook today announced the Oculus Quest, an all-in-one virtual reality headset. It features a “Rift-quality experience” without the need to connect to a PC. The Quest headset is a wireless VR experience. It’ll ship with Oculus Touch controllers and feature full hand tracking. It’ll also have full head tracking with six degrees of freedom. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg today announced the product, saying it would launch next year with a price tag of $399.99. It’ll have 50 launch titles including Moss, Robo-Recall, and other Rift titles.
