Quotable

"House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., announced his temporary resignation as committee chairman, March 3, 2010, on Capitol Hill, due to charges that he violated ethics and was corrupt. It probably did not help that he was made chairman of the committee for his promise to end the "culture of corruption" in Washington, DC." ~ Yasha Harari

The new HTC Gallery app may have given us a heads-up earlier today, but the Taiwanese smartphone maker today confirmed that its new One (M8) Android handset will be available as a Google Play Edition too. The handset will feature the stock Android experience, similar to the Nexus range and the HTC One Google Play Edition released last year. The company said it will be up for pre-order later today and then available from the Google Play store “in the coming weeks.” While HTC has made great strides to improve the Sense UI, BlinkFeed and its set of exclusive apps, there…

It’s been almost a year since Google announced a new way to automatically organize your inbox using tabs called ‘Primary’, ‘Updates’, ‘Social’ and ‘Promotions’. And today, Google has revealed it’s introducing a new way of displaying images specifically within the Promotions tab. The idea here is that promotional emails typically have many images embedded, be it an item of clothing or new mobile phone.
