on May 17, 2009 in London, England.
miDrive, a new iOS app aimed at providing a one-stop-shop of relevant information for people that are trying to pass their driving test, launched in the UK today. While there are already innumerable iOS apps for different aspects of learning to drive, and particularly for passing the UK Driving Theory test, miDrive claims to be different in its approach. For example, there are options for finding qualified local instructors (complete with photos, prices and reviews from former students), a tracking feature that notes where you’ve been driving (and for how long) in each lesson, and easy ways to share your…

David Arnoux is Head of Growth and co-founder of Twoodo, helping your team organize itself using simple #hashtags. A business whose true north is growth will know that collecting quantitative and qualitative data is critical. Organizing your company’s data and knowledge from the beginning is not optional. Without this system, you might struggle to understand why your visitors and users are doing what they do, how they value your product and how they pass on information about it to others. This means setting up your technical information (such as updates, tests, feature developments) and “business” information (such as design changes, copy…

Twitter Goes Public On The New York Stock Exchange

Shailesh Rao, Twitter’s vice president for Asia Pacific and Latin America, tells TNW in a recent interview that the main value proposition of Twitter is that it’s a “live, public and conversational platform,” but within the…

Vevo and Yahoo have long been friends — the two companies have had an agreement in place since 2012 to syndicate Vevo’s programming to Yahoo Music — but the pair has announced an extended partnership that will see its video content available via Yahoo Screen from today. As a result, if you do happen to be a Yahoo Screen user living in the US or Canada, you can now access Vevo’s HD music content, live streaming events and other original content, Vevo said in a blog post today.
