Sunlit, the impressive photo journaling app for iOS that we wrote about in January, has responded to the disappointing news around App.net this week, and now allows users to log in using Flickr. The app had initially required an App.net account. Although it is no longer a requirement, connecting Sunlit to an account on App.net is the only way to unlock advanced features, such as syncing, in-app social sharing and collaborations with multiple users. Gaana, the Bollywood and Western music streaming service focused on India, has gotten a significant update for its iOS and Android apps, which now both include music videos and lyrics for songs. Version 4.0 of the app also includes discounted download rates for subscribers to Gaana+, its premium subscription service that is available as one, three, six and 12 month plans. Bitly published an urgent security warning on Thursday explaining that it suspects that users’ account credentials have been compromised. The company noted that it has no evidence of unauthorized access to any accounts, but it disconnected users’ Facebook and Twitter accounts just to be sure. Users should take the following steps to reset their OAuth tokens, API keys, password and then reauthorize connected applications: 1) Log in to your account and click on ‘Your Settings,’ then the ‘Advanced’ tab. 2) At the bottom of the ‘Advanced’ tab, select ‘Reset’ next to ‘Legacy API key.’ 3) Copy down your new API…
