Foursquare is planning to launch its new Swarm app on Thursday (tomorrow). Yet the company is having a bit of trouble keeping its pants on, so to speak, and has been revealing features all of Wednesday (today), including planning, neighborhood sharing, and check-in search. When Foursquare first revealed Swarm at the start of the month, it said the new app would launch in the “coming weeks.” On Friday, that timeframe changed to “next week,” and now it has changed once again to tomorrow: We're going live tomorrow on iOS and Android! Check out some of our new features on http://t.co/kjV2Zr4zn1…

Developer Tom Waddington has discovered (via TechCrunch) a question-and-answer feature on Pinterest. Questions would offer a dedicated section for users to get more information about specific pins. A Pinterest spokesperson provided the following statement regarding the test: We’re always gathering feedback from Pinners to make Pins more useful. We’re currently testing the ability to ask and answer questions in a more structured way on Pins, with a small group of Pinners. ➤ Pinterest Questions [Tom Waddington] Thumbnail credit: worker / Shutterstock

This article originally appeared on the iDoneThis blog. One unnerving aspect of getting older is how life seems to start speeding up. Feeling that whoosh as time rushes past you can be disheartening as you wonder where the days, or months, or even years go. Yet we’re not doomed to march to time’s relentless beat. Your sense of time is weird and pliable — stretching, compressing, coming to a standstill. And you can mold it, to some extent, to move to your own beat. When you encounter the familiar, time seems to constrict and when you acquire new knowledge, it expands….

The 3D printing world is still in its infancy. Tons of different printers use various techniques to create physical objects. Autodesk wants to push the market forward with its open-source Spark initiative. Autodesk CEO Carl Bass says that the Spark platform will be a more reliable, yet simpler way to to print 3D models. In addition to the platform, Autodesk will release its own 3D printer reference design and hardware. While adding another printer to the already crowded market doesn’t seem that exciting, making its platform and printer open and freely licensable to hardware manufacturers could encourage companies to build their own printers….
