Tinder gets ephemeral with Moments, swipeable snaps that disappear within 24 hours

In what seems to be a never-ending road towards app convergence, mobile dating platform Tinder just got a whole lot more like Snapchat with a new feature called Moments. Moments lets users annotate and share photos with their matches, who can then respond. However, images will disappear within 24 hours. You can add filters to the swipeable snaps, draw on them, or add text. The update is live on the App Store now, though no word yet on when the Android incarnation will be arriving. ➤ Tinder: App Store | Google Play

Google announces Project Tango Tablet Development Kit, coming with Nvidia’s Tegra K1 for $1,024 this month

Google today announced the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit for developers who want to build apps that can track full 3D motion and capture surfaces in the surrounding environment. If that tickles your fancy, you can “express interest” on the Project Tango website. Developers selected by Google will be whitelisted to purchase the device for $1,024 from Google Play in “late-June.” If you’re attending Google I/O, the company promises you’ll be among the first able to purchase the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit.
