The Google-owned, socially-sourced navigation app Waze for iOS and Android has been updated with a raft of new features today. Among the new headline features is an option which allows users to share a specific location with friends at the click of a button – whether that’s your current location, your destination or your home/work address. The option also allows you to send previous destinations to friends directly from your history list. Also introduced by the update to Waze 3.8 is the option to add friends to your account from your phone’s contact list and new options for more easily sharing…

It’s become a ritual in its own right: It’s mid-June and Adobe has released a new version of Creative Cloud, a huge collective update for its entire line of desktop and mobile apps for photographers, artists, videographers, graphic designers, animators, and others in creative fields. feat-Adobe-Ink-and-Slide-On-iPad,brightscreen
Adobe has ventured where few software companies have gone. It’s now in the hardware business with the debut of Adobe Ink & Slide, a digital tablet pen and ruler set for Apple’s iPad linked to the company’s Creative Cloud subscription service. Both tools were unveiled at Adobe’s MAX 2013 conference with the somewhat fanciful monikers Project Mighty and Project Napoleon. They’ve now been renamed Ink for the pen, and Slide for the ruler. They are sold as a boxed pair for $199.99 and are designed to work specifically with the last three models of Apple’s iPad. Because Adobe needed software to test what…
