Shuttersong photo-video app now on Windows 8

Shuttersong, the iOS photo-audio app that merges an image and an audio clip into the same file, is now available for Windows 8. Shuttersong lets you combine 15 seconds of voice, music or sound within any digital photo and then share it via email and social networks. The Windows 8 app features system-wide gestures for playing music and sharing Shuttersong files. Users can also access their photo library on their device or in the cloud, or create Shuttersongs from archived images. New Yo channel on IFTTT actually makes Yo kind of useful, almost

Yo is dumb. What’s dumber is that the developer raised $1 million for an app that sends a message with a single word “Yo,” to your contacts. That’s it. That’s all it does. Now it’s being combined with arguably the most useful tool on the Internet, the cloud-based scripting service IFTTT (If This Than That). Lomo’Instant camera available for pre-order and ships on December 14

Lomography, the company known for its analog methods of providing creative photography looks and filters, has announced the pre-order availability of its new Lomo’Instant camera. Prices start at $119, and shipping begins on December 14. The Lomo’Instant was funded by a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, where Lomography’s request for $100,000 was easily surpassed to yield $1,118,333 from supporters. Touting it as “the world’s most creative instant camera,” Lomo’s newest tool features a close focusing distance, as well portrait, macro and fisheye attachments in addition to the standard wide-angle lens.
