It’s shameful, but virtually every unposed photo of me taken in the past few years features me looking at a smartphone, tablet or laptop. I’m not alone – the smartphone is having a devastating effect on face-to-face communication across the world. The team at Vooza is taking extreme action, as this video proves. Every week, Vooza – a video comic strip about the tech world – shares a new video with you lovely TNW readers. Sign up for Vooza’s email list to get exclusive access to more funny videos like this one.

Digg today announced Digg Deeper, a new feature that shows you what links your friends are sharing on social networks in real-time. You can get this list in three different places: on the Digg homepage, as real-time email alerts, and as mobile notifications from its iOS app (no news on the Android app). Mathilde Collin is the CEO and co-founder of Frontapp. About six weeks ago, I was sitting in front of my computer waiting for one email. Not just any email. The email.
