Microsoft is launching a Halo Channel for Master Chief fans on Xbox One this fall. Described as “the home for Halo,” it will offer a single portal where players can receive notifications about new content – such as the release of its digital series Halo: Nightfall – and watch video interviews and ‘behind the scenes’ documentaries about upcoming Halo games. Google is turning off its Maps API for Flash on September 2, asks developers to migrate to JavaScript Maps API

Google today announced it is turning off the Google Maps API for Flash on September 2, 2014. The move is in line with the three-year deprecation period: the API was officially deprecated on September 2, 2011. In other words, developers who haven’t moved on now don’t have a choice.
