You’d be surprised how many apps you’ve attached to your Facebook account. No really, check it and see. Well Facebook is now giving you more control over the apps and sites you have attached to your account. The fine folks over at Inside Facebook noticed the updated App Settings page. The new layout makes it easier for you to edit the apps you use, adjust which apps you see in your timeline that your friends use and determine if you want to see if your friends like a website that you’ve landed on. Apple is letting you delete that U2 album you don’t want

Remember last week when Apple gave everyone a free U2 album during its iPhone/Apple Watch event? It turns out not everyone is a U2 fan (don’t tell Bono) and now the company has a quick way to remove the music from your precious song library. To remove Songs of Innocence just head to this Apple support page. When you’re done, the album will be removed from your account. If you’ve already downloaded the album, you’ll need to manually delete all the songs. Google says government demands for user data have increased 150% in five years

Today Google published its tenth transparency report as it pertains to government requests for user data. According to Google, governments have stepped up their demands for your data. Pertaining to worldwide data requests not related to FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) and NSL (National Security Letters), there has been a 15 percent increase compared to the same time last year. Since 2009, the increase in requests has grown 150%. US requests have grown 19 percent since last year and 250 percent since 2009. Google goes on to talk about the increased demand by governments for user information even after revelations…
