Google just introduced a new app for iOS that displays local news and weather. It’s like the nightly local news except on your iPhone or iPad. The News & Weather app for iOS is “your comprehensive and personalized view of headline stories and local news and weather,” according to Google. The free app pulls from 65,000 publications with 60 country-specific editions. The app can also be customized to show news by topic, like Hollywood, Fashion and NASA.
