Square launches App Marketplace to make third-party integration painless for businesses

Payment processor Square has launched the Square App Marketplace today in a bid to make it easier for sellers to find business apps that help them keep operations ticking over smoothly. Since first launching its software platform, Square has integrated apps like IFTTT, TaxJar, SumAll and a whole load more, now, they’re just a whole lot more convenient to find and use. Tumblr’s mobile apps now loop videos endlessly and autoplay them when you’re on Wi-Fi

Tumblr is rolling out a new video player experience for its site and mobile apps. Similar to Facebook, clips that appear in the iOS and Android apps will now play automatically – but only when the user is connected over Wi-Fi. Tumblr will mute all videos by default, although a quick tap on the speaker button will toggle the audio. Apple set to open 25 new stores in China by end of 2016, making a total of 40

Apple is preparing to open 25 new retail stores within mainland China in a bid to gain a stronger foothold in the potentially lucrative and incredibly large consumer electronics market. Revealed in an interview with Sina and reported by Reuters, Tim Cook said that 25 new stores would be up and running in China in the next two years – more than doubling its footprint from the 15 it currently holds.
