Viddsee launches for iPhone to showcase short films from Southeast Asia

There are many niche Netflix alternatives out there. One of these is Viddsee, a Web-based video platform and launchpad for movies emanating from Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on short films from indie filmmakers. Thus far, Viddsee has only been available as a Web app, though this worked on mobile too. However, Viddsee is today rolling out its first native mobile app, kicking off with iOS. The Samsung Gear VR will cost you $199

While Samsung showed off the Gear VR today at its developer conference and opened pre-registration to actually buy one, it didn’t share the street price of the headset. Apparently, that’s what partner Oculus is for. In a post on the Oculus site, the price of the Gear VR Innovator Edition is revealed at $199. For $249 you can add a Bluetooth gamepad to the headset. Microsoft reports 10 million Xbox One sales

With a number of big new titles for the Xbox One launching in the past few weeks, Microsoft reported today that sales of the console are about to hit 10 million to retailers.
