Twitter wants you to keep your eye on your feed. To keep those eyeballs right where it wants them, beginning today deals from various businesses will start showing up in that feed. Called Twitter Offers, merchants can now embed offers into Twitter cards and tweet them to their followers. If you see a deal you like, you can add the offer to your credit or debit card and use that card to purchase the item or service. No coupons or need to bring up an app on your smartphone. Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and 5 more new apps now support Google Chromecast

Google’s ever-expanding roster of Chromecast-enabled apps gained seven new additions today, including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and TuneIn Radio. The remaining four apps – Sesame Street Go, EPIX, YuppTV and Encore – will also work with Google’s $35 Chromecast device from today. While it’s only seven more apps overall, each one counts given the number of different streaming devices now available to users. Pew: 66% of Americans don’t know what Moore’s Law is – do you?

PewResearch has announced the results of its Web IQ study today, revealing that most Americans can’t recognize Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and don’t know what Moore’s Law relates to. Released today, the report looked at 17 different aspects of technology by presenting questions to just over 1,000 internet users based in the US. While it won’t contribute to the data, you can still take a 12-question version of the quiz.   Overall, only 34 percent knew that Moore’s Law related to the number of transistors that you can fit on a microchip, and only 21 percent recognized Sandberg.
