Messaging app Line takes its mobile payments service global

Japanese messaging app Line has released a new update taking its mobile payment service Line Pay global for the first time. The company claims to have 170 million active users worldwide. Line Pay will let them make payments for services and at shops that support the option. From today, you can register a credit card and buy Line stickers and other content through the Line store. BT brings live TV and purchased movies to all your devices

BT has announced that movies bought on a BT TV YouView or Vision+ set top box will now automatically be available to watch on smartphones, tablets and PCs for free. If you buy films from the service you’ll be able to watch them on the Web or up to four different Apple or Android devices. Good news Windows-loving sports fans, the BBC has just launched a new BBC Sports app for Windows Phone. The BBC Sport Windows Phone app is in the Windows Phone Store now. It gives you access to the current headlines, sections for UK and international events, a live tile showing the top stories, comprehensive football coverage and indexes dedicated to dozens of other sports.
