If you’ve been scratching your head or even banging it on the desk over the lack of ports on the new MacBook, here’s the video for you: Obviously, the old Spanish man isn’t actually talking about Apple’s new products. The guy being interviewed is Juan Joya, a Spanish actor and comedian known as El Risitas, which means “little laughs” or “giggles”. You can guess why. We’re connoisseurs of great Chrome extensions here at TNW, so Google’s latest was an instant addition to our browsers. Google Art Project, developed by the Google Cultural Institute, puts fine art on every new tab you open. The extension shows great artworks from the collections of museums and galleries around the world. In the week that we heard the sad news that Gigaom is shutting down, discovering that a European tech publication is launching a new print magazine might seem crazy. But that’s just exactly what Nordics and Baltics-focused tech site ArcticStartup is doing. It’s kicked off an Indiegogo campaign today to fund the first proper issues of its print title, CoFounder, with a plan to offer in-depth features on the European startup scene. Though it’s far from the first online tech publication to venture into dealing with dead trees – PandoDaily’s been producing Pando Quarterly for paying subscribers since it acquired…

Steam is down right now [UPDATE: It’s back!]

Steam, the gaming platform and store from Valve Software is currently down. It’s not clear exactly why the service is currently unavailable, and it looks like only the digital download store is affected for now. Steam’s site currently reads: An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #97.c52c0e6b.1426148779.1056185d The desktop app loads fine and allows you to access your library, as well as download and launch games. However, the store is unavailable both here and via browsers. We’ve contacted Steam to find out more and will update this post as soon as we hear back. Update: Steam’s store is back online…
