Android One phones coming to Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka
Following its launch in India back in September, the Android One program is coming to three other countries in the Indian subcontinent over the next few weeks. Google says that Android One devices will soon go on sale in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, allowing customers to experience the capabilities of a modern smartphone with standardized specs and the latest version of the Android OS at a low cost — typically around $100. Besides Micromax, Karbonn and Spice from India, Bangladeshi manufacturer Symphony will also begin retailing Android One devices, beginning with its Road A50.
