Apple announced at today’s WWDC it was rolling out stronger security and privacy features which help keep user data from being exploited. Among other features, it’s removing additional cookie tracking and reducing the ability for third-parties to “fingerprint” users through plug-ins. Developing. Refresh for updates.

macOS Mojave brings dark mode to your Apple desktop

At Apple’s WWDC event in San Jose today, the company announced Mojave, the latest version of its macOS desktop platform with a bunch of updates – most notably, a new dark mode that spreads across the entire interface. Apple announces watchOS 5 at WWDC

Apple today introduced watchOS5 with new updates including updated algorithms for health and fitness, a walkie-talkie feature, 3rd party app support, and a better way to talk to Siri. Fitness updates: A new workout type for yoga including heart-rate monitoring and tracking, and another for hiking that helps to measure pace and heart-rate. Can also now set a custom pace alert, and runners will also get cadence so they can see current steps per minute. iOS 12 lets you limit how long you (and your kids) use apps

Earlier this year, Google announced a big update to Android’s Do Not Disturb mode to help you spend less time distracted by your phone. At WWDC, Apple is making changes to iOS along the same lines. Perhaps the most notable new feature is the ability to limit how long you use individual apps. Not only can you see the time you’ve spent on individual apps, but you can set time limits as well. Apple introduces group FaceTime calls at last in iOS 12

At Apple’s WWDC event in San Jose today, Apple announced that it’s finally updated its FaceTime video calling feature to support group calls in iOS 12. The updated functionality lets you call up to 32 people at a time.
