Seven years after its launch, Amazon-owned Twitch finally has a channel that’s racked up more than a billion views on its game video streaming platform. The accolade goes to Riot Games, the publisher of the immensely popular MOBA, League of Legends (LoL), and the owner of the title’s official Twitch channel. Microsoft adds native adblocking to Edge for Android

Following the lead of both Opera and Google, Microsoft has announced it’s bringing native adblocking to its Edge for Android web browser. Microsoft has already began rolling out the feature to those running the beta version of Edge for Android. Those using the stable version of the browser will receive the feature in a future update. Redmond has chosen to use Eyeo’s AdBlock Plus software, which is easily the most popular adblocking software available on the market. As is the case with other in-browser adblocking solutions, this doesn’t require a separate download, and can be managed from Edge’s settings. You…

The Verge reports that Microsoft is working to bring support for mice and keyboards to its Xbox One consoles at last. That builds upon Windows Central’s story from last week about Microsoft’s partnership with gaming accessories maker Razer. The idea was to support RGB lighting in Razer’s Chroma line of peripherals, which includes LED backlit gaming keyboards. Windows Central shared some notes from leaked documents pertaining to a developer event. If those are anything to go by, it looks like Microsoft is stipulating a limit of one keyboard and mouse to be supported per console (while several gamepads can be…
