Google Fit teams up with the WHO to help you shed the pounds

Google has updated its fitness tracking app Google Fit. The latest version contains a radical visual redesign, and an emphasis on helping users achieve their health and fitness goals. For this update, Google says it’s worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Heart Association (AHA), in order to better understand the science behind physical fitness and health. Google Fit now uses two activity goals based on WHO and AHA research, in order to push users towards achieving the right amount — and crucially, the right intensity — of exercise. When Walmart Canada Bethesda announced a sequel to 2010’s RAGE, I was as baffled as the next guy. RAGE was a decent game, don’t get me wrong, but it kinda came and went and nobody really expected a sequel. A sequel is exactly what we’re getting tho. id Software, makers of DOOM and Quake, are teaming up with developer Avalanche Studios (Just Cause, Mad Max) to bring back the open world shooter in the spring of 2019. Dark Tequila is a sophisticated banking malware targeting victims in Mexico

Security researchers at Kaspersky Lab have uncovered a sophisticated cybercrime outfit called Dark Tequila, which targets banking customers in Mexico and other Latin American nations. Kaspersky believes Dark Tequila has been active since 2013, primarily in Mexico. The outfit’s main weapon is an advanced malware program which the Russian security firm described as “unusually sophisticated.” Based on the company’s analysis of the code, it believes the developer is Spanish-speaking and Latin American in origin. At the heart of it, the Dark Tequila malware exists to gather data on its victim — be that banking credentials, or personal or corporate data.…
