Imagine. You spend your formative high school years with your nose in a weighty textbook, at the same time avoiding parties and dating. Then, clutching a 4.0 GPA, you head to a top-tier university to study Computer Science. Four years and a mountain of student debt later, you start your Master’s Degree. The goal is to land a job at a top-tier tech firm, like Facebook, Apple, or Amazon. And you do. Your job is now to count things. It sounds like a joke, but that’s pretty much what happened to one of my friends. It turns out that counting…

Sekiro review: Perfection perfected

Apr01

Court documents claim “blockchain services company” Vanbex raised $22 million (CAD$30 million) in cryptocurrency and fiat by with absolutely no intention to develop the FUEL token, reports CoinDesk. Instead, Canada‘s director of civil forfeiture said Vanbex founders Kevin Hobbs and Lisa Cheng used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle, which included the purchase two new Land Rovers, a $3 million (CAD$4 million) Vancouver condominium, as well as the leasing of a Lamborghini Aventador S.…

The first phase of the Indian Assembly’s election kicks off on April 21, but the increase in propaganda has already begun. Facebook has announced it’s removed numerous pages and accounts that used practices like fake accounts and cross-posting to increase their spread. In a post, the company’s Head of Cybersecurity Policy, Nathaniel Gleicher, said that it removed over 800 pages and accounts on Facebook and Instagram related to ISPR (Inter-Service Public Relations) of the Pakistani military, opposition party Indian National Congress’ (INC) IT division, and pages supporting the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP)related to an Indian IT firm, Silver Touch. The 103 ISPR…
